On an article over at PC Mag they explain why they think that the Android tablet isn’t anywhere near competing with the iPad. The reasons for this as stated by the article aren’t because the hardware of the iPad out strips that of the Android device it is because of the applications that are available on it. The article goes on to say that the iOS store is easy to use and there are many helpful categories and lists to find just the app your looking for, whether it is iPad specific or not. Whereas the Android app store as described by PC Mag’s Sascha Segan is:
a chore, and a grind. You can find some by looking in the very small Suggested for Tablets area on Google Play, using search terms like “Tablet” or “HD” in Google Play, or using the Tablified Market third-party directory ($1.49).
