Opening the box for my 3rd generation iPad the other day was just like opening any other Apple product it was perfectly set out and it looked like as much thought went into the design of the box as went into the design of the product, this is largely due to the design ethos that both the late Steve Jobs and Jonathan Ive share. Another thing I have noticed is the battery I have used the device a lot in the past 2 days I’ve had it and the charge is still on 53% which is pretty impressive to say my iPhone seems to be leaking battery at the moment.
The apps such as the Natwest banking, Feeddler RSS reader and wordpress apps which are designed specifically for the iPad and looks fantastic on the new screen. This device is still pretty expensive but being the same price as the iPad 2 it’s really pretty good value. Personally I can’t see anything on the market competing on the high end with this device, it will be very interesting to see how the first quarter of sales go for the new iPad.
