Apple is reportedly ramping up the production of its new 13 and 15 inch Mac Book Pros, the report of Digi times the Apple rumours site states that the 15 inch model production is slated for April while the 15 inch model will not start production until June time. The article is quoted as saying
As Apple will start mass producing its 15-inch MacBook Pro in April, sources from the upstream supply chain have pointed out that the company’s orders for the 13.3-inch model are far higher than those of the 15-inch, indicating that Apple is more focused on the 13.3-inch notebook segment. However, the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro will not start mass production until June.
While Digi times did note that the number of the orders were far higher for the 13 inch model they not say when they would be due out or why the 15 inch production was under way so much sooner than the lower spec model.
