HP was the largest PC vendor last quarter with the biggest chunk of the PC market, however in Apples latest earning report which will be announced next week is expected to state that they have overtaken HP in the market which includes tablets.
Apple’s iPad sales are expected to hit record numbers in this quarter which will be the tipping point that finally helps them over take HP, analysts estimated that they would get between 11 to 19 million of sales so this is good growth either way. The company seems to be going from strength to strength even with the loss of their iconic leader Steve Jobs. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the interest in the next iterations of their products. It will be interesting to see on the press call on Tuesday the 24th, just what figures Apple will announce.
