R.I.P Flash for mobile

Adobe Flash Player Icon

HTML 5 has come on leaps and bounds recently and is well on its way to being the de facto standard in the mobile web design. Adobes Flash has been over thrown by HTML5 as Adobe stops developing its mobile version, this is after a campaign by Apple to make it obsolete  through not including it in its IOS mobile operating system the damage has finally been done. Flash was made more and more redundant as websites stopped using it so they could be compatible for the IOS platform.

Apple flat out refused to ever have Flash on its OS reported no matter what Adobe would do for Apple. On the same string there was no way that Silverlight was going to be compatible with IOS because of the two companies long and negative history. HTML 5 has definitely being growing in popularity in recent months with Microsoft now developing its mobile applications on the platform.

Despite the death of the mobile development for the Flash platform Adobe have insisted that there it is not dead, with the desktop version of Flash still going strong. The desktop version is still used for many different application.
